I’m often asked how I came to be an acupuncturist, so here’s how…
For many years, I worked in marketing, often half-
During 2 wonderful years working and travelling abroad, I spent time learning yoga, traditional Thai massage and some other complementary therapies which gave me a great interest in alternative systems of health.
After moving to Leamington Spa, I went for some acupuncture myself and soon wanted
to know more. It just so happened that Warwickshire was home to one of the longest

At last, I had finally found a system of medicine that made perfect sense to me and that I couldn’t wait to share with people.
After 3 years of study, I graduated with a BA (Hons) as a fully qualified acupuncturist at the beginning of 2005 and immediately returned to my native North East to set up my practice.
I now have 2 busy clinics in Durham and North Shields whilst also providing a pain relief clinic for the NHS.
